Gone - Poem by Sophia Lugli

i sit in these rooms
colored people and signs on the wall
white paper with lines
we sit with no motion
the silent sound of tapping
no sudden movement
just the sound of a teacher yelling
dead or alive
i dont htink it makes a difference
atleast not to them
laughing forbidden
texting theres times i wish we could
save us
the nation that is falling
we are killing ourselves and the people around us
there is no simple way to get out of our mess
the life we live is even to hard for us to understand
easy life
not a chance
happ endings
well no such thing
keeping ourselves safe
the world isnt safe
people left and right
no where to turn to
just the death of us and the world
