Goodbye Poem by Brooke Ashlyn

Goodbye

Rating: 4.5

Every truth and every lie
Every cut and every cry
The pain it dies
The rain falls hard
The storm has come
And people will die
With every truth and every lie
No more tears you will not cry
But slice your wrist and feel the pain
For one more night this blood will rain
It does not hurt and you can not feel
The blood falls softly this cut wont heal
So breath in deeply and hold on tight
This life is over you can no longer fight
No more pain and no more sorrow
No more tears and no more tomorrows
Don’t forget to say goodbye
Use a letter and write a lie
It was not their fault that you have died
They had no part in this suicide
But yet you feel so all alone
Because no one stopped you who could have known
You felt so weak you were hard as stone
They did not see for you hid it well
Now leave this earth down to hell
Why didn’t they see it
Why couldn’t they tell
The anguish you felt
From sanity you fell
Into this darkness with no one else there
Lost and lonely and oh so bare
What did you do
Why didn’t they care
After every cut and after every cry
After every truth and after every lie
Lay down softly and finally die
Say simply now, Goodbye
