Goth - Poem by Vision Ghost

I bow so to these misunderstandings of such ways for the few
That within these shadows created by light I shall remain true
To a belief of the velvet of night covet me in blanketed throw
And drank thy wine if not tasted lips of a lover I so shall know

Laying bare upon my flesh as cuts draws to the drinking of her
Her ladyship so be erotic of the black dress and the synthetic fur
Caress my face with her cheek and I am bound now to this place
Seasoned for these pleasures of her body within a majestic grace

As low organ shall play and chalice dried to drench me in red
For grief and solitude reap untimely recognition of thus dread
The passing of our lovers through time, circumstance and death
Yet to awaken to the yielding of comprehension in my breath

For hence I am taken to this place beneath a time and darkness
In the empire to thus of the many we are familiar in this fortress
Of the family we belong to in colour and without in lunar spell
That assembles an emotion of belonging without heaven or hell

Satin corset of her breasts mothering me; I drank as her prince
Before a sword strips to her body as silk skin closest ever since
The dark found me and called my name as doth she does so here
Upon the bed before the window we chase that of another’s fear

As I step into this forest of grey fog and whispers for thy name
Enticing me in dark robes I wear to yonder forth without a shame
For who and what I am with these perceptions I am thus gifted
Expressed in cloth, in paint, in blood and that which is thirsted

Thus quenched in darkest concubine for I am a child of this night
My illumination of silver moon for I am of the heart for this plight
In loneliness and in companionship of souls rendered of wondering
From illumination and vision, perception and that of all knowing

For amongst us we bear no war or symbol for provisions of hatred
Just simplistic acknowledgement for that which is forever kindred
As within us all undulate from the streets to the fields of our haven
Forever as one and as forever eternal in the darkness as that of maven
