Greed Poem by Naomi Waters

Greed

Grabbing
Taking
Beating
Stealing
People take
People steal
People kill people to get what they want
Tears
Loss
Laying shattered in a sea of nothing
Some will do anything for the simplest of things
Breaking
Sneaking
Snatching
Vanishing
A thief in the night
Gone before justice could be done
A shadow
A gun
A shot rings out through the abyss
Blood drips upon the ground
When pushed to your limits will you break
Greed corrupts
Greed poisons
Greed spreads like a disease
Greed is blood
Greed is death
Some just cant fight themselves
Sometimes they just cant fight Greed
