hidden behind a translucent veil
you can't see, you can't tell
everything you need, everything you want to know
we are constantly hidden behind a facade of ego

and so, there's a villain inside me
the devil's got a new disguise
black hair, brown eyes, cracked lips
a body full of sins

what lies ahead is a mystery
small bridges fall hard
watch the sadness
behind those eyes

evil is lurking within
the sound of laughter is tainted
colours of darkness
white and black
those perfect combination

head held high
with humility and self realization
on the ledge, under the sky
silence and remorse
