Gypsy Girl - Poem by Trujillo Gabriela

Sing to the moon,
Gypsy girl,
Soak your tears
In the lake,
Clean your eyes,
Wash your skin,
Cry if you want
To be with him.

Pretty girl
Of golden color
You are so good
You are so noble
Who could hurt you?
Do you wrong?
Like a crystal
Break your soul?

Stop waiting,
Quiet girl,
Of white foam
Are your chains,
Run away free
Don’t leave a trace
Of broken dreams,
Of tearful face.
