Hand In Hand - Poem by Tamara Moir
I know we've been hurt
Maybe treated like dirt
But I still love you, tell me you care.
I think we can make it,
Just hope we can shake it,
With friendship and love we can share.
Perhaps it won't work
But boy, please don't smirk.
I want us to always be friends.
We've both had our troubles -
Emotional bubbles -
So let's tie up all our lose ends.
Just hold me tomorrow
And promise you'll follow
Your heart, only truth will remain.
Which is where we will stay,
When we walk hand in hand in the rain.
