Happiness. - Poem by Kirsten Striecker

To hard to work for.

So far; to go to succeeded

Unknown source, unknown cure.

Happiness; so hard to reach

Sadness; so easy to be.

Angles fall; hope fades.

Tears run; smiles weaken

Run farther than you can.

Wish more than you can't.

Text; just for a 'goodbye' reply.

Call; for a 'I can't' answer.

IM; for a 'It hurts' response

Dream with your head in the clouds.

Reach for the sun outside the Galaxy.

Chills from memories.

Shivers from lost contact.

Hope to be destroyed.

Love to be broken.

Busted ear drums, from music therapy.

Repeating the same song.

Memories; never captured on digital.

Late nights from over thinking.

Blood shot eyes; from a liquid substance

Heartbeats larger than pulses

Looking for you; to be disappointed.

Unsolved problems over looked.

Leaves in fall; to think of that person.

Pictures locked, to be reminded of you

Tears flowing like the ocean's waves.

Roadblocks; bumpy lives.

Corny lines; just to get in.

Thirteen; going to thirty.

Count backwards; and just breathe.

Trusting ones; you know; you shouldn't!

Nightmares; of me losing you..

Reality showing me; it wasn't a nightmare.

Happiness is just a theory in my eyes: //
