Three wars, one conflict,
fight for what is right!

Came upon a flying eagle in flight;
an air lift of greatest height.

Give US freedom,
a kind that lasts
for troops who crawled along savage jungles,
deserts, seas, and paths, thirsting for their lives -
while at home were family, friends and wives.

They made it back, all in one piece,
describing horrors, yet all about victories;
now the challenge,
coming home,
hopefully their optimizism will be avenged,
not ever again to feel alone.
