Hard - Poem by Peggy Dotson

Is it so hard for you
to let me know where we stand
I think I deserve the right to know
whether or not I have a man.

I think it's only fitting to tell me
exactly what's on your mind
I'm ready for you to tell me
whether or not you're mine.

If she's stilll going to be in your life
I have a right to know
There's no reason for me to hold on to you
when obviously you want me to let go.
