Hate - Poem by Craig Edwards

I wish hate was a fossil,
Like Something deceased that is buried in the soil,
Look at me boil in my anger, it's like hate is the oil,
To ignite dysfunctionality in a mans mind mentality,
Now hate makes me hate someone's hateful personality,
It's like gravity, like the birds we were meant to fly,
Instead we love greed, money and lust then we die,
I had a dream that my hate was in form of a man,
He put his arm around my shoulder and gave me a plan,
He said your heart is soft, you let people in,
I'm going to make you hard so you'll never hurt again,
He told me Birds of a feather flock together,
People of differences we harbour never!
Look the way they talk and they look,
different from us we are gold and the rest are crooks,
Muslim brothers and others men not our kind,
Poor brothers and blacks is like scum to mankind,
My name is hate please to meet you my friend,
Sincerely yours
In truth I'm only here for a wicked cause.
