He Is Coming - Poem by Donald Yates

He bestows us little wonders as we go through the day,
He points us in the right direction as we go along our way.
He see us in our struggles and sometimes when we cry
He is with us with encouragement every time we try.

Days and nights pass by, all in his accords
He is the one and only highest of all Lords.
Time was set upon his death for all mankind to see
Death by sin was paid for so we all may be free.

Wind blows through the tree, clouds float overhead
pain is gone in heaven, on earth we’re spirit led.
following in his foot steps we wonder near and far
all the while on God’s right hand, there is a brightened star.

He sets on our behalf as sturdy as a rock
He protects us from all evil because we are his flock.
When he returns for his bride, the children will be awaiting.
He’ll pluck us up into the sky and away from old Satan.

When all of time has passed we’ll never have to roam
Many mansions are prepared where we will make our home
Jesus waits for the day just like you and me
He’ll be in the clouds for all of us to see.

He is coming, he is coming I long to see his face
He is coming in a cloud for the human race.
For of all those who choose him and professed to be true
Will all fly up toward heaven and meet him in the blue.
