Hear Emily Pray - Poem by Lindsay Crosby

There is a march in this world
A line of proud chests and swinging arms
There is a known distance
but not distant
There is a will and a way made of brick
And shoes to protect feet
In the future there will be lines staggered white lines
and lanes to use to go to and come from
Modern man will be as proud to
He will pass through the heavens asking only a guiding hand
God will keep an eye by decree

(not such a little town girl)
