Heard Some Wonderful News
Heard Some Wonderful News
Heard some wonderful news today
A friend of old just got saved
We used to drive His mom to service
She's since passed on but will be blessed
To know He came to know the Lord
And God again has honored His Word
Her steadfast prayers for his soul's condition
Praise God had finally come to fruition
I joy and rejoice in that as well
Another lost soul saved from Hell
Now God accomplishing by His Spirit
The work of Salvation.. now sinner hear it
There's grace and mercy abundant free
What's holding you back...seek it for thee
You could be someone's answer to prayer
Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there
May there still come wonderful news
About one's absent from church pews
But in our heart's they will always remain
Our prayer they become..."born again"!
And know God's blessing in their life
A sure relief from present strife
And to enjoy their God as ABBA Father
This is my prayer O heavenly Father
