Hearts Of Black - Poem by Evie smith

I draw hearts of black
Subconsciously knowing
There is no way back
From this place where I’m going

So what can I do?
And who’s going to save me
Take back all my pain
And the hatred they gave me

And once I am saved
Far from this dark hole
I’ll fear everyday
Because black is my soul
