This piece held familiar characteristics for me... an artist/poet, home manager, inspirer of others, at crossroads, no longer young, more aware of the passage of time, worried about the effects of leaving on others. The only difference I have kids and don't drink. Life is a journey with constant changes and challenges indeed. (Report) Reply

Interesting piece... the question, what does he see in her, is so typical of someone seeing a relationship only from the surface and judging without knowing. I liked it (Report) Reply

A lovely narrative poem, well articulated and nicely penned. What does he see in her? I guess the eye of love sees what others may not see. A good piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply
