Someone I don't know looks back at me
Covered up in lies
That no one seems to see
What happened to the girl
That I used to know
Wherever did she run to
Wherever did she go
How come she isn't here with me
Did she fall apart
I think I know what happened
That boy still has her heart

Insightful. We change for people, wanting them to love us, then they leave us because they liked who we were before. Then we're alone. The exact state we were trying to avoid. Except now we are this whole other person we don't know... or even like. With a broken heart. Changing for someone else, is usually not a great idea. Your poems are great! I can't believe how young you are, to write so mature. Keep up the great work. Lori
