Here With Me - Poem by Nina gáspari

I find myself in the middle of the road
That leads to nowhere
So I bite my lips
And pretend I don´t care
I look around and you´re asleep
How can it be?
U´re still here with me
So I turn on the radio
And hear the stuff
I don´t want to know
I try to grasp for air
But this situation
Is quite an aggravation
Of all that i´ve left behind
Of all the crap in my mind
My heartbeats are way too intense
For my girlish chest
Those memories are way too big
For my silly head to forget
The wind blowing in your face
And u´re still here.. sound asleep
I still can not believe
You´re here with me…
