Hidden Desire - Poem by ross laboucan

i am god's gift to women with a heart made of stone,
but deep down inside i feel so alone,
but i have love that begs to be shown,
sometimes i just feel like some drone.

so here's the deal i'll make for you,
just to prove that it's for real,
here's a hammer and chisel to make your mark,
so on a journey we can embark,

cause at the end of the day i'm just a Casanova in disguise,
waiting for the right one to claim me as her prize,
for she will be the apple of my eyes,
and i'll show her that my love never dies,
