House Of Sunshine - Poem by Raymond Juan

Though in my eyes you shine brightly, your house is dim, Sunshine.
I can't see it, but I sense it, feel it.
I am so, so, sorry to hear about your father.
I know and understand what a father should and can be.
Maybe someday I can actually practice such an endevour, but for now I'm humbled.

I am sorry for what has happened, and sorry for all that makes you sad ahead in your future.
Nothing that I can say or do, can make it better.
For what it's worth, straight from my heart, be strong, hold your head high, and smile. For you, Sunshine are in my daily prayers.

You may not want to talk to me, nor do I think I want to request your words at this moment, so let it be.
Maybe at some point in time we will wake up and all of that will change.

Just to let you know, I miss your voice, your laughter, and your smile.
I miss it so, and it pains me.
Maybe someday I shall be graced with them, but for now, for you father, and all that is to come, I will pray for your well being.
Carry your burden.
Cry.

Even though I want to contact you, and console you in your time of need, I can't bring myself to do that right now.
Many actions were shown with the intent to hurt and I'm sure they will continue as time passes.
But somehow, how confusing it may be to me and others, I do carry a part of you with me.

I may meet many people in my life, but it's the special people I hold in my heart with fond remembrances.
When I first met you, I found you physically very beautiful. Truthfully when I first saw you I didn't see you with my eyes, I saw you with my heart. I saw into your soul, and I felt something I haven't felt in a long time.
I have, and always will defend you. For I hold you in such high esteem that many have and will questioned my actions and faith. They just did not see what I saw.

But if you should look hard enough, I will always be there for you.
I always said I would, and my word is my domain.
No questions asked.
So let it be set for eternity, my word I shall obey.

If you should find this, you will understand and know how much one person can touch someone elses life.
And this poem shall always be posted for you and was the day we parted.

I will be your lighthouse if you should become lost and need to find a way home, for I'm here for you, if you should need me.

Please, don't live in the past dear, nor so far into the futrue that it clouds your vision, ........... just live for the now.
And once again, I know, your home will once again be brightly lit with Sunshine.
