My mind lost in the ruins.

Wouldn't believe the anguish I go through.
Miles and miles away, you are.
The distance hurts, much too far.

My life is places I don't want to be.
Full of faces that litter my thoughts.
I want to leave. Be gone with it.

We are not worthy of the lives we've been given.
We make everything toxic; how could we be forgiven?
We use and we use, and we take away.
Mother Earth's falling apart and we are to blame.

I miss him so
He'll never know
Curly brown hair
His skin against me bare

Empty rotting carcass am I.
Am I worthy? Should I die?
Exhausted, aged, suffocated;
Cicular and all of these related.

Buy your salvation to save yourself.
You won't cry to your god when you're burning in hell.
Redemption only through your faith alone.
Popes reproducing their hypocritical clone.

What gives you the right
To act the way you do?
My psyche you sever and bite.
Atrocity and cruelty, all I ever knew.

I am a person, and so are you.
We all make mistakes, but I was the fool.
I let you have me, I loved you so.
You knew just what to say to make it all grow.
