How Is Life? - Poem by Geetha Jayakumar

Where I was
Where I wished to be
Where I stand now is
Just the opposite
Can't go backward
But to keep on moving forward.

Dreams are mere dreams
Don't know whether dreams were fulfilled any.

Anything that made you pleasant
one can say yes.

If one asks
Are you happy in your life?
This question is too tough!
It's like having a bitter juice in a glass
and say cheers to self!
It's a thought provoking question for me.
Reply to this question one may answer at the end.
As beginning till end is full of mystery, twists and turns.
Today, End matters much
Cant say regarding its beginning as it was not in our hands.
No answer to this
That's life!

Still I say
Life is Beautiful!

    Despite trials and tribulations
    Despite storms and gales
    Life looks fine and fine
Life goes on and life is beautiful.......Geetha.......a very nice piece concluding very positively.............

The Life bus goes on and on
Asking no questions on the bumpy ride
Or when the going is a pleasant one
We must (being born) in acceptance bide
Till one day it is all really done and over
And you have to get down at a destination
Where no body stands to receive you
And your loved ones wave helplessly their goodbyes
From that life bus receding into yonder blue........

Very good write and most of us have been through this
