Hurting For Endorphins - Poem by Lindsay Crosby

either side of my day
I drain away
said to be in my imagination
I live with the frustration
all a bloom I turn to Ying & Yang
seeking vital signals to my brain
sticking in metal
placebo soothe my soul
break down the code
I evaluate
with some expectation
and trepidation
it's not all in my head
I have perception
dummy medicine a momentary relief
all in my mind
all in my head
just maybe they won't be happy till I'm dead
upon this wall I shall bust my head
