I Am - Poem by Robin McGuigan

I am the spider widow black
Waiting for the unsuspecting victim
Lure you in with all my beauty
Slowly poisoning your mind with grand delusions of desire
I am the wolf velvet white
Untamable, wild and free
Yet loyal to our dying days
My bond shall never be broken
I am the cat silky soft
Huntress of the night stalking my prey
Mysteriously enchanting caress me if you dare
I am the chameleon ever changing
Figure me out you will not
Always blending, mixing, moving, hidden within your sight
Spot me if you can
I am the owl wisely watching
Searching always for untruthful eyes
Swoop down upon you and expose true intentions

I love the way this poem chants Robin, but those first 4 lines are rather too rich in tastelessness for my tenderness side! lol What followed helped the medicine go down gulping, sick as a butterfly without it wings! Tai (Report) Reply
