I Am Lost... - Poem by Ing Wei Ching

i am lost...
i will do anything at all cost....
to find my happiness...
to pull myself out of darkness...

my world shifted...from white to black,
my shadow left my back...
i tried to find my way...
but nobody would hear me say...

i can't stand the pain,
i thought it wouldn't come again...
'Oh, someone, please hold my hand',
'Take me out of this forsaken land'....

in the end,
i walked around the bend...
i saw a dazzle of light,
it was such a wonderful sight...

but as i reached there,
the land was bare...
it was sooo damn plain,
and i am lost again...

i am lost...
my paths never crossed...
i have only one choice...
to die or to rejoice...

i am lost...

If this is a confessional poem, I'm sorry you're in such a bad place, Ing. But please don't say you'll 'do anything at all cost.' That makes you a prime candidate for Bob Gotti, a proselytizer on this site who would tell you to accept Jesus Christ as your savior and then everything will be hunky dory (and if you don't, 'Christ will crush [your] head') .
