I Can'T Go There - Poem by Tasia Brooks

I long to feel your touch.
Our desire is too strong.
I can't go there.
To hear your voice I weep puddles.
My core is weakened.
I can't go there.
To see your presence I know myself.
Through your eyes I've lost myself.
I can't go there.
To taste your lips I have existance
In exchange for my soul.
I can't go there.
Through your scent I know safety.

Who is the one to smell the aroma of deception?

I can't go there.

Good sincere first poem. I would try experimenting with a range of disparate subjects to gain a good poetic repertoire. (Report) Reply
