I Care So Deeply - Poem by Michael P. McParland

I care so deeply for you
and I wish I could just reach out
and take your hand right now
to pull you in for a hug and hold you
while you just released and let everything out.
I can feel your sadness, anger and hurt
so very strong and I want to give you all of my love.
I want you to be able to bury your face
in my chest or shoulder so you can tell me everything
and cry if you need to,
cry as long as you needed to while
I just sat there with you stroking your hair
and rubbing your back softly reassuring you
that I care and I'm there and I'll never leave you my one.
I care so very deeply and I just want to hold you right now.

I care for you so very deeply and I just want
to lay here in my bed with you,
feeling so close but not through sex at this time.
Love making can wait because talking
and gentleness are what's needed right now.
Looking at each other and sharing sweet kisses,
breaking down the defenses that have
gotten in the way and hurt us.
I want to share my whole world with my lady
because I so deeply care and I trust you.
I love you sweet Kira and I care immensely.

Kira I care so very deeply and I want to be
here for you freely forever.
You are my Angel and best friend so beautiful,
you are the only one I want to be with,
my sweet darling Kira I will always stand by you
fighting for and defending you.
There isn't anything I wouldn't give or do
to see you smile and make you happy.
I love you sweet Kira and I care so very deeply,
my sweet Angel dove I want to be with you for all eternity.
