I Deeply Love You Poem by Joy Santos

I've committed a lot of mistakes and tantrums.
I may have shown the world my weaknesses and failures.
I've been stubborn and selfish. I've been stupid one time or another.
During these moments of imperfections, you become my constant companion.
In my weaknesses, my imperfections resurface. But still, you never leave my side. You are my lifetime companion.
My light during my darkest moments.
My rainbow after every storm.
I may have all the imperfections the world could give, but still you never leave. During my tantrums, you're too patient, too understanding.
Waiting until I am in control of myself.
When I show my humanity through my mistakes, you're always there to clear my mind and let me see things in a different perspective.
When I'm at my weakest point, you are the one who lift me again even though you, yourself is near to giving up.
In times that I fail, you are always there to make me realize that there is always another chance for everyone.
In spite of my imperfections, you are still there to make me feel so important. Not only for you, but for the world.
Its as if the world cannot be completed if I am not a part of it.
You always give me hope when I think of giving up.
You are my lifetime companion, my completeness.
I may be the most stubborn selfish individual alive, but you still stay in my life. I love you so much.
That's the thing that I'm sure of.
I may be a failure, but in loving and having you, I consider my self successful.
I may have a lot of mistakes, but I know, that loving you is one of the right things I've done.
I may be a weakling, but I will be strong for you.
I may have a lot of tantrums and I may be selfish, but I will do everything for you. I know-change that- I believe I already found God's gift for me.
And that is you, my lifetime companion.
