I Do For You, Not For Me - Poem by Austin Terando

school sleep love
in about of
blur light shine
food tea time
id ego superego
bi homo hetero
nature and life
goddess or wife
seventeen years
too many tears
seventy to go
morale is low
i want to learn this
i want to learn that
why ambition exists
if I just get a pat
my life is lost
now i'm exhaust
i am a slave
cause it's you i crave
seventeen years of a life was mine
seventy years of waiting for cloud nine
goddess, send me something to make me sane
so i can finally be freed from these chains
