I Feel, Therefore I Suffer Poem by james watkin

I Feel, Therefore I Suffer

I feel, therefore I suffer.
And no one felt more
Than He who of the Light bore
The darkened world's sinner.

This maxim of Earth, to quote
No little god is sage
But Man, to Love, in bondage!
A lowliness of note!

Where in tear-chains, Sympathy's
Manacled, selfless
Unbinds what, of Hell's duress?
Of Hell's law, what frees?
