I Hate Missing You - Poem by Connie Tallada

I hate the sounds of silence it's killing me
I miss your noise that used to bother me everyday
I hate the serene moments and calmness of every night
I miss those days when we giggled at every little fight

I hate going to sleep without you to hug with
I miss those times when you crumpled our bed
I hate waking up all alone in this strange place
I miss scratching your eyes when you refuse to wake up first

I hate seeing this place all well-organized and neat
I miss fixing your craps and cleaning up your mess on it
I hate lining up my shoes without yours beside it
I miss wearing the wrong pair because mine is what you get

I hate all those stuffs and everything that I see
It can't replace the emptiness that I feel inside of me
I hate this feeling the wanting and longing for you
And I hate missing you because there's nothing that I can do
