I Hate You I Love You - Poem by Melissa Christman

I can't stop thinking about the ways things used to be.
I can't stop thinking about the love you had for me.
I can't stop thinking about the time we spent together.
I can't stop thinking about how you said this would be forever.
I can't stop thinking about how you broke my heart.
I can't stop thinking about how you tore it apart.
I can't stop thinking about your big brown eyes.
I can't stop thinking about all your lies.
I can't stop thinking about all the times you had to cheat.
I can't stop thinking about how you swept me off my feet.
I can't stop thinking about how you wanted us to grow old.
I can't stop thinking about how your heart turned ice cold.
I can't stop thinking about all the nice things you said to me.
I can't stop thinking about how it was never meant to be.
I can't stop thinking about how you said I was the best.
I can't stop thinking about how you said that to all the rest.

I hate you I love you, I can't stop thinking of you. I hate the way you make me feel each day. I hate you had ta make me pay, for all the mistakes that you have made, I hope one day these memories will fade. With all this hate I say goodbye, for all the times you made me cry.
