You came from a distant past,
out of my dreams
and you came to me
long before I did even know you

and came to me singing songs
that echoed through my mind.
Like the wind you whispered
in my ear with words that only I could hear.

You came to me while the stars
were still glistening in the night sky
and you came like a phantom
taking control of my dreams

and when the sun waked the earth
and I did wake up
the longing was still there.

I call to you,

in the distance of my future:

I do not want you to be part
