I Just Want You In My Arms - Poem by Michael P. McParland
As I now close my eyes and try to sleep
I just want you here to kiss and snuggle
up with to feel at peace.
My heart is hurting and I'm oh so tired,
I just want to have you in my life
and have you in my arms giving of myself in full.
As I try to sleep I just want you here
to kiss and snuggle with feeling content and whole.
I just want to hear from you and talk
for hours on end just like we used to do.
I just want to know you're alright
and see the words of my precious dear,
working our way to the point of
hearing each others voice
and then soon after reunite.
My sweet darling my heart aches to feel you close,
I just want to hear from the one that means the most.
I just want to share my love with you
because I adore you dear and you are my one.
My best friend, my hero, my soul mate in full.
I just want you to know how much you mean to me.
I just want you here within my arms as I try to sleep.
Can you feel and hear my hearts calling plea?
Do you know how much you mean to me?
Because if you don't than I have failed
to show you your abundant worth and how great you are.
I just want you to know you are my beautiful Queen
for whom I would give my life and do anything.
I just want you here within my arms
to kiss and hold as I try to sleep.
I just want you here in my arms to to hold and kiss
because I love you more than anyone or anything.
Kira you are my special lady so supreme.
