I Let You Down Poem by Bekii Maxfield

I Let You Down

I rock back in forth in a corner
Hoping you will forgive me
tired as I may seem
It's just me worrying with plea

All the pain we experienced
was only making us stronger
But We didn't know
My sadness didn't show

I had to escape the stress of living
All the fighting and screaming
Was all for a reason
But then I thought it was treason

Time is supposed to heal all wounds
But to us
It is only cutting us deeper
The mountains are getting steeper
