I love the way you let me speak my mind
even when it’s extremely rude and never very kind

I love the way you really don’t care
about how my hair looks or the clothes I chose to wear

I love the way you use cut pet names
laugh, smile, and put up with my foolish games

I love the way you say you love me
because you honestly mean it and it’s easy to see

I love the way you find me so easy to forgive
and I don’t want to fight again for as long as I live

I love the way you always kiss my cheek
my heart starts to flutter and my ankles grow weak

I love the way you always hold me tight
allow me to cry and you say everything will be all right

I love the way you rub your fingers on my face
and when I’m with my friends, you give me some space

I love the way you randomly kiss my nose
your love sends a tingling sensation down to my toes

I love the way you always seem to joke
even when you have so rudely been awoke

I love the way you miss me when I’m away
make me feel good about myself throughout the day

I love the way you don’t care how good my manners are
hang out with me and my friends cruising in my car

I love the way you’re always nice to my sis
pay attention to what she says, even when it’s a diss

I love the way you wouldn’t leave my brother alone
finally bringing him out of his shyness zone


I love the way you let me move at my slow pace
even when we are laying together at your place

I love the way you painted my fingernails
plus the cute smiley faces to tell our tales

I love the way you mess with my hair
and I can’t help but hope you’ll always be there

I love the way it feels to lay beside you in bed
as you hold me close, only one thought is in my head

I love the way you say you want us to last
so hopefully when I say this you won’t think it’s too fast

I love the way you always come up with the sweetest thing to say
I have something to tell you and I hope it doesn’t scare you away

I love the way you always hold my hand
and may eventually lead to a wedding band
