I'M Alright - Poem by Damabiah 777

“I’m alright, she said, I’m alright
Don’t you notice the scars on my side
I’m alright, she said, I’m alright”
As red tears fell on my arms

And her hands in mines
She left me behind
With nothing to recall
But her scent on the shroud.

Our souls were intertwined
Yet I mourn her till I die
You were my sorest passion
I now await my redemption

I know you’re alright, I say
I know you’re alright
Let your scars on my heart
And your tears on my arms

There’s nothing to cry for
Nothing to remember anymore
Yet I still whisper your name
Never to lose you again....
