I'M No Angel - Poem by sarah alice hofeditz

forever more
fly like an angel
so i can see my dreams
in that not so distant sky

the scribbles that do not fade
if only one could be granted
i wont forget the painful things
with which i can fly

the dreams i had when i was a child
the scribbles that do not fade
i will remember them
forever more

from all my countless wishes
if only one could be granted
then i could forever more
fly like an angel

when my wishes come to an end
i wont forget the painful things
there are people who will support me
so i can see my dreams

soon i can obtain wings of freedom
with which i can fly
i turn towards my desire
in that not so distant sky

the scribbles that do not fade
if only one could be granted
i wont forget the painful things
with which i can fly

forever more
fly like an angel
so i can see my dreams
in that not so distant sky
