Life is an experience, It is the choice we make, but it's never too late to realise the hole we are in, and then take control. The last lines shows your will to change and your faith will show you the way. Nice write.......

'Tis trus we each make our own lives, have our own regrets and our own amends to make but you know that's what makes life the wonderous thing it is. If we all lived careful wellordered lives and we made no mistakes along the way what sort of existance would it be - BLOODY BORING- unlike your poem which is honest and interesting.
