I Messed Up - Poem by jon barron

You’ve changed my life in more ways than you know,
I wish every second you didn’t want to go
I’m annoying but loyal and I love you to death,
All I want is too hold you and to feel your breath;
On my neck would make me so happy to know,
That you feel the same and would return home.

Not appreciating your love’s the biggest mistake of my life,
I couldn’t make you happy,
And its kills me inside.
To change your heart is all that I want,
Even if it means that I put down the rod

You deserve my love 100 percent
And your gonna get it, even if your’s is spent
I never realised what true love is before
But to realise to late that yours friends are yours
But that your friends be my friends if they make you smile more

Leaving my feelings to deep in my head
Maybe we drifted apart ‘cus we never shared
Our worries, woes and insecurities deep down
Being without you is making me frown
All I want for you is happiness all your life
Even if that means that I’m not by your side
