It's been so long,
Since you've come along
The days feel like years
And I'm running out of tears.

I'm hoping that you'll write
To make me feel alright
But I know you'll not
Not even a dot.

I remember the laughters
And so as the letters
But they're nothing but souvenirs
Of our previous years.

The memories that we had
They're driving me mad
They haunt me everyday
And they just won't go away.

Every little thing
And every song that I sing
Reminds me of you
And of the things which we used to do.

I'm searching for your face
In each and every face
Though for me you're everywhere,
I'm aware that you're not there.

I'm longing to see you
I swear, I always do
And as long as my heart is beating
I'll be right here waiting.
