I Miss You - Poem by Isha Almadi

i miss the way you made me laugh when i am crying
i miss you when i am stressed and almost dying

i miss you when am in bed trying hard to sleep
and when i think too much, shallow deep

i miss the way you used to talk till the time i was off in my dreams
also wake me up with all sorts of screams

i miss the way we used to talk crap
i miss the way you tricked me in trap

i miss the way you cared and loved
i miss the winter walks, all packed and gloved

i miss the way you made me feel special
i miss the way you encouraged me, making me realize my potential

also i miss the small coffee meets
and those ' no reason' treats

i miss the way you shared every bit and tatter of your life
i miss those bike and activa rides

i miss your stupid jokes over the call
also i miss you calling me your doll

i miss those 'fruit and nut' chocolates
and i miss the fact that you know its my favorite

i miss the way you figured out my feeling without even me sharing
i miss those eyes trying to get an answer, starring

i miss the playing bingo sessions in the cafe coffee day
i miss the way you sorted all my problems with no delay

i miss the way you handled me when i was tensed
i always wondered that how with you time condensed

i miss the way you helped me getting out of problem
i miss the way u understood everything and still behaved dumb

i miss whatever you did for me in the past few years
in life if you ever come across this, i hope your eyes are not full of tears.

for me, u have always been like rays of candle
i miss the way you say ' dont worry sweety.. i'll handle! ! '

ps i miss you!
