I seldom refresh from the dark,
Nor visit of dreams to sift the day,
Sorrowful morn awaits me again,
Obvert mine eyes til darkness creeps,
Mourning the loss of my nightly companion,
Nevertheless the night brings me hope,
Irrationally thinking this night I will win,
Alas ablepsia of sleep I await the Lark...
