I Need (Your Touch) - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I need your touch and yours alone,
it's the only one that will complete
me and bring my soul back to robust life in full.
I've gone so very long without human
contact and touch that each day a little
bit more of me grows sadder and wilts.
I need your touch not just in sex,
but to hold your hand and be in
your arms knowing I'm accepted and loved.
Making love will be great but most of all
I just need your touch hugging and kissing,
holding hands to feel skin next to skin,
body next to body I've so long not had and missed.
I need your touch in the most profound of ways,
my soul and heart are screaming in need of contact
and love that I so badly crave.
Only you can fulfill that longing need,
because my soul wants you and you hold my heart,
my soul mate and best friend.
Only your touch will do my Angel Queen.
31 and a half years with but 15 minutes of
that sort of contact and love.
My soul and heart are starving and needing your tender touch.
I can't take the lonliness and great need much longer,
I need your touch my sweet darling please come hold me so tight
and take my hand forever in yours my dear lover.
