It's in the way he smiles,
The mannerisms that take my breath away.
My little boy has your spitfire,
All the things about you that I admire.
It's in the way he laughs,
The joy in his heart when he sees our tree.
Your brother is the glue that you used to be.
It is in my strength.
How I am determined to perservere,
It is almost like you are still here.
Sometimes when I laugh, you are what shines through,
I really did not think I could live my life without you.
You are my mother and though you are gone,
I am more like you every day, noble and strong.
When I glance in the mirror, and I am on my way,
It is wonderful to see you everyday.
