I Select You - Poem by Shqipe Haliti
I select you,
Your subsistence covered with delicate fruits,
The very soul of cherub,
I select the very insightful frame of your mind, it breeds erudition,
I select your longing to run into my infinity-lets meet there,
I let you be my gravest obstacle, I'd never surpass it,
I select you to crush me as a wild flower upon your subtle chest-tame each segment of its corolla in your captivity, I implore.
I'll then suddenly let you select my savage, the crazily adrenalized clasp,
I'll sank exhaustingly, yet with heart aflame,
A thrilling momentum remained unanimous,
Let's meet beyond our galaxies.
