I Speak With Quiet Voice... - Poem by Slava Olchevski

I speak with quiet voice
Because I made a choice
The stuff I talk about
One never speaks aloud

Mine is a voice of reason
That frees you from a prison
Of ignorance of mind
That keeps you in a bind
Prevents your immortal soul
From reaching its sacred goal

The ignorance of your mind
Is the enemy of the worst kind
If it found a place in your heart
My job is ten times as hard
There is no magic pill
That cure you from that ill

Creating the magic art
I will rip my heart apart
And pull that piece of flesh
So you could eat it fresh
It will make your heart to rejoice
You will hear your soul’s voice

We, immortals, feel no pain
I let little piece to remain
As soon as it grows back
I could finally hit the sack.
