I support the right to bear arms:
arms that remember how to hold a life in them,
that treasure even their everyday entanglements,
arms that never rest but exercise their
freedom and yet a vintage restraint.
It is the arms not the arms that take a life.
We've designed devices that make it easier
to hate, to fear, to take.
Arms are not arms are not arms.
