I Want To Be Me

My dreams are full of many things
But sometimes they are hard to decipher
I wonder if my goal in life is clear
But I will never know until I can see myself more clearly
Society says to grow up fast
But for me you should stay young and free
You should be able to stay away from grown up problems
Until you know who you are and what you want in life
Society also tells me that I have to stay lean
But I want to be able to stay at my own weight
Society forces the kind of music you listen to
But I think you should listen to whatever you want may it be rock, jazz, blues, soul, reggae, rap, or hip-hop
I want to be free to be myself and not squeeze into the social heirarchy
So all I say is Society leave me alone and let me be free.
