I Want To Sing You Sweet Rhymes - Poem by Jez Burl

Lost in the desert
I have been away
from you for ages;
And now,
now that I found you
I want to sing you
sweet rhymes
as you rock your chair
closing your eyes
remembering the days
I could be sitting in your lap
as you sing me lullabies.

    Wow, this somehow very sweet...bitter...like chocolate and its more, because it has beautiful emotion that really make the song alive, as if the chair is moving to nod! . (Report)Reply
